We certainly had a busy end to 2024! In November we took part in Lorraine’s Big Baby Bank Appeal, by delivering seven full trolley-loads of nappies, wipes, and baby clothes to the Royston Baby Bank. The Baby Bank takes donations year-round, if you would like to donate please contact No 1 Glasgow Baby & Family Support Service.
In December welcomed local primary school choirs to sing carols in-store. Bravo to the young choristers, we hope they enjoyed themselves.
We also had our annual staff theatre trip. Members of staff, along with their children and grandchildren, visited the Pavilion Theatre to see the pantomime ‘Beauty & the Beastie’, everyone had barrels of fun.
We started off 2025 by donating biscuits and teabags to Swintonhill Care Home, Baillieston Care Home, Bealach House Day Care and Muirhead Road Day Centre.
Our main focus this year will be raising money for our partner charity Marie Curie, the UK’s leading end of life charity. All money that is raised by our Baillieston store will go to Marie Curie’s Glasgow hospice.
We have lots of fun fundraising events planned such as zip-slides, race nights, raffles, and much more! We will also have donation buckets in-store.
