Tesco Parkhead Extra community update February 2020

The store community bookcase has raised over £4700 and I would like to express gratitude to everyone who donated books or purchased them as they have helped support local causes including St Anne’s Primary School, Living Well Pensioners, Carntyne Foodbank and our charity partners BHF, Diabetes UK & CRUK. Please

keep our bookcase stocked by continuing to donate books.

The Tesco Bags of Help Projects you are voting for this month are Glasgow Panthers Wheelchair Rugby, Easterhouse Greenheart Growers and Shoot 4 Success. Find out more about each group when you cast your vote in store. Please make sure you receive your blue token at the checkout.

Our store community board and information window have been updated. Please stop and take a look during your next store visit.

My work with the Allotment Angels project, the IncludeMe2 Club, Golfhill Care Home, Westercraigs Nursery and Onslow Drive Nursery continues.

Pictured are pupils from Haghill Park Primary School receiving a donation of food and water to help start up their tuck shop.

Our Facebook page is Parkhead Forge Community . All requests for help must be made in writing marked FAO Susan Wilson, Community Champion, 33 Beardmore Way, Glasgow G31 4BG. By Susan Wilson, Community Champion
